Lake Mutanda

Lake Mutanda is one of the magnificent sites in Southwestern Uganda. Located in Kisoro District, Lake Mutanda is a must-visit before or after gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.

It is a charming natural lake lying within the breathtaking mountainous landscape.

The picturesque Lake Mutanda offers an excellent relaxation ground and sweeping views of Mount Gahinga, Sabyinyo, and Muhabura. This lake is 20 km North of Kisoro and is drained by the scenic River Rutshuru.
