Get up early at around 3:00 am and organize yourself. At around 4:00 am, you will be exiting Kigali capital for Katuna or Chanika border crossing to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Expect to connect to your preferred sector as directed by the pre-booked gorilla permit. You will be expected to attend the briefing on gorilla trekking rules in Bwindi, and this will be done by an experienced park official.

After getting insights into the rules and regulations of gorilla trekking, you will be allocated a gorilla family. Your trek with Bwindi gorillas will run for 2-6 hours and includes an hour for up close and personal encounter with these large apes. After the trek with the Bwindi gorillas, you will return to Kigali.
