Day 1: Kigali to Ruhengeri, visit Volcanoes National Park
Leave Kigali for Volcanoes National Park only 2-3 hours’ drive. Pick up point, at Kigali International Airport where the driver guide will meet you, introduce himself and brief you about the whole journey as per the 4 Days Uganda and Rwanda Gorilla Safari. After briefing, connect to the park with the driver guide explaining every bit of unique attraction you come en-route.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Rwanda & cross to Bwindi
Visit Kinigi for a briefing about guided gorilla trekking rules and the allocation of gorilla families. Volcanoes National Park Rwanda has 12 fully habituated gorilla groups to be visited and you will trek only one today. Actual adventure through the bamboo forest or montane forest to see gorillas begins at 8:00 am lasting for 2-6 hours, but it covers 1 hour of magical encounter and you return to the lodge.

Day 3: Full-day Gorilla Habituation in Bwindi National Park, Uganda
After an early breakfast, leave the lodge as early as possible for a briefing about gorilla habituation rules which will be done at Rushaga. You will be exploring the Kutu gorilla family in Rushaga, the Southern sector of Bwindi also a region with the highest habituated gorilla trekking families. Instead of spending 1 hour, today, the park official will allow you 4 hours to enjoy a close encounter with the massive mountain gorillas in the wild and you return for the entire evening relaxation at the lodge.
