Detailed Itinerary -6 Days Bwindi Gorillas and Rwenzori Marathon Safari Packages
Day 1: Arrival & pick up at Entebbe Airport- (18th/8/2026)
Arrival at the Entebbe International Airport and get a warm welcome to Uganda –the Pearl of Africa from an expert from Flawless Adventure Planners Limited. Leave the airport for leisure time in the nearby hotel in Entebbe city.
Overnight at Papyrus Guesthouse or 2Friends Guesthouse (Bed & Breakfast)
Day 2: Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park/Mgahinga (19th/8/2026)
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and later, set off for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Southwestern Uganda.
Getting to Bwindi by road today will involve navigating along the Kampala-Masaka-Mbarara route. Your en route journey will include a stopover at the Equator for you to take pictures/purchase some souvenirs.
Proceed to the Igongo cultural centre/hotel in Mbarara city for a lunch break. After lunch, set off to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Bwindi is set in Southwestern Uganda and is about a 9-10 hours’ drive from Entebbe or Kampala.
The park comprises 4 main sectors for gorilla trekking (Buhoma, Rushaga, Ruhija, & Nkuringo), and supports a total of 120 mammal species, 350 species of birds, and others.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking experience (20th/8/2026)
Get up early for you to enjoy breakfast and later, set off for the briefing at you respective trailheads/sectors. Meet the park official to take you through the gorilla trekking rules and regulations.
Later, you will be allocated a gorilla group, and you will embark on a search in your group of 8pax. The entire journey will last for around 2-6 hours, less or more, and on locating gorillas, you can enjoy a maximum of 1 hour. Return from the gorilla trek for you to relax at the lodge.

Day 4: Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park (21st/8/2026)
Pick up early morning and you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park about 4 hours. As you connect to Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoy the amazing views of the countryside, lush surroundings, homesteads, and farms.
A short game drive will be done at Queen Elizabeth National Park for you to spot diverse savanna species.
Later, settle for lunch and join others for a boat cruise in the afternoon. Explore the Kazinga channel, which links Lake Edward and Lake George.
Enjoy the views of aquatic species, large schools of hippos, buffaloes, and elephants on the shores. After the boat cruise, proceed to the lodge for relaxation.

Day 5: Drive to Kasese for Rwenzori Marathon run (22nd/8/2026)

Day 6: Drive back to Entebbe or Kampala (23rd/8/2026)
After breakfast, leave Queen Elizabeth National Park for Kampala. Arrive early and enjoy lunch en route. At Entebbe, you will be dropped off at the hotel to catch up with the flight back home.
