Overview of 4 Days Mgahinga Gorilla Trekking Experience
Day 1: Pick up & transfer from Entebbe/Kampala or Kigali, then travel to the hotel
Day one can be dedicated to you to travel to Uganda, and you transfer to the hotel for relaxation. Early arrival at Entebbe International Airport or Kigali Airport may include a short city tour. The rest of the evening is for you to spend at the lodge or hotel property.
Day 2: Drive off from the hotel to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
After breakfast, you can set off for Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, about 9-10 hours from Entebbe or Kampala. From Kigali, you can cross via Chaninka, and in just 4 to 5 hours, you can be at Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Arrive early to check in your comfortable standard accommodation in Kisoro or inside the park.
Day 3: Enjoy gorilla trekking & join a community visit in the afternoon, or relax at the lodge
A delicious cup of tea or coffee will be served. Join the briefing session at the Ntebeko area. Get to know the various safety measures or rules to be respected during the gorilla trekking adventure. At around 8:00 am, you should be able to embark on the actual gorilla trekking experience.
